A Short One

February Newsletter

I’ll admit that this newsletter snuck up on me. I didn’t prep anything ahead of time and it’s been a busy month, mostly with my sister’s wedding (which went great) and the long term sub job I got volu-told into. If I ever do go back to being a classroom teacher, it will not be in high school math. But I do get paid more so it’s not all bad. This month’s newsletter might be a little shorter than usual.

The Mercy of Dragons

Part 3, The Dragon City launched on Feb 6th and I’m on track to release The Burned King in April. Seriously considering waiting until the second Friday so it doesn’t coincide with Easter, but we’ll see. In other news, I did buy a cover for the full version, and the artist is working on the paperback version. I’ll share it after The Burned King comes out.

Oh, and in January I actually got a payment from Amazon. I made a whole three dollars!

Heir of Stars

Except for the week I forgot to post a chapter, Heir of Stars has been coming out every Thursday on Substack as planned. This week is chapter 7. I’m not sure how much traction it’s really getting, but I’m going to keep posting it.

What I’m Into

Reading- Finn Mac Cool is a dense book and I’m still working on it. Ten minutes at a time is progress, but slow progress. When I can, I read more, but there’s no guarantee.

Watching- YouTube. I probably need to stop watching decluttering videos, it’s giving me unrealistic expectations.

Last Words

Well, isn’t everybody lucky that the newsletter is short this time? March comes with spring break and I get a week off for sure and might be able to get more done. I also have house cleaning plans. My dragon horde is getting out of control…
